1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Olyve ("the Service"), operated at olyve.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, organization administrators, and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

  • Create and customize digital business cards with your professional information
  • Share cards via QR code, NFC tap, or direct link
  • Scan paper business cards to create digital profiles
  • Order physical NFC-enabled business cards
  • Track card views and engagement analytics
  • Manage contacts from card exchanges
  • Create and manage team cards within organizations
  • Sync contacts with third-party CRM platforms
  • Build custom pages and email signatures

3. Account Registration

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Promptly update your information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

You may sign up using email/password or through a supported social sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple). You may also create an account by scanning a paper business card.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

Olyve offers a free plan with core features. Paid subscription plans (Pro, Business) unlock additional features such as advanced analytics, CRM integrations, custom branding, team management, and more. Plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or SSLCommerz depending on your region. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free plan. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4.4 Physical Card Orders

Physical NFC card orders are one-time purchases separate from your subscription. Once a card order is submitted for production, it cannot be cancelled. Refunds for defective physical cards are handled on a case-by-case basis.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including your business card information, profile photos, logos, and contact data ("User Content").

5.2 License Grant

By using the Service, you grant Olyve a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This includes displaying your digital business card to anyone who accesses it via your shared link, QR code, or NFC tap.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that:

  • You have the right to share the content you provide
  • Your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Your content does not contain false or misleading information
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Create fake or misleading business cards
  • Share illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful content
  • Distribute spam, malware, or phishing links via your card or profile
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Circumvent subscription restrictions or feature gating
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

7. Organizations and Teams

Organization administrators can create team accounts, manage member cards, and control branding settings. By joining an organization:

  • You acknowledge that organization admins may view and manage your card within the organization
  • Organization admins can assign card templates and branding to your profile
  • Leaving an organization will disassociate your account from that organization's management

Organization owners are responsible for their team's compliance with these Terms.

The Service allows you to connect third-party platforms (Google Contacts, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM) to sync your contact data. When you connect an integration:

  • You authorize Olyve to access and transfer data as needed for the sync

  • Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies
  • Olyve is not responsible for the actions or data practices of third-party services

You may disconnect integrations at any time from your dashboard.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, graphics, logos, and overall look and feel, is owned by Olyve and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination:

  • Your digital business cards will no longer be accessible

  • Active subscriptions will not be refunded for the remaining billing period
  • Physical card orders already in production cannot be cancelled

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
