Setting Up Appointment Booking
Appointment booking is available on Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans.
Step 1 — Set your availability
Go to Dashboard → Appointments → Availability.
Configure:
- Timezone — Select from 20 common timezones.
- Weekly hours — Enable/disable each day and set time windows (e.g., Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Date overrides — Set custom availability for specific dates (e.g., holidays, special hours).
- Advanced settings:
- Minimum notice before booking (in minutes)
- Maximum advance booking (in days)
- Buffer time before and after meetings
- Maximum bookings per day
- Minimum cancellation notice
Step 2 — Create event types
Go to Dashboard → Appointments → Event Types and click Create Event Type.
For each event type, configure:
- Title — e.g., "30-minute consultation"
- Slug — URL-friendly name for the booking link
- Description — What the meeting is about
- Duration — 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes
- Color — Visual identifier
- Location — In-person, phone, or video call link
- Custom questions — Add questions for the booker to answer (text, textarea, select, or checkbox)
- Confirmation message — Custom text shown after booking
- Redirect URL — Optional redirect after booking
- Active/Listed toggles — Control whether the event type is active and publicly visible
Step 3 — Share your booking link
Copy the booking link from the Event Types page. Contacts can also find your booking link on your digital card if you enable it.

Tip: If you connect your Google Calendar, Olyve will automatically check your existing events and hide conflicting time slots.
